Blake Ellender Brown or more popularly known as Blake Lively, has a colorful filmography—from her breakout role in “The Sisterhood of Traveling Pants” to jaw dropping “The Shallows.”
A far cry from her ageless role in the “Age of Adaline”, comes her upcoming 2017 thriller drama film entitled “All I See Is You” where she portrays a blind woman named Gina. Traumatized by the previous accident that caused her blindness, the initial aim is to get back her sight. But she soon figures out not all things received are blessings.
Gina lives with her husband in Bangkok and finally receives the operation she needed for her eyesight to be restored. However, after her successful operation, she sees the truth about their marriage– everything she thought about her marriage isn’t all perfumes and roses.
The film itself earned half-hearted praise from the Guardian’s film critic Nigel M. Smith. He wrote on rottentomatoes.com, “Even as All I See Is You descends into soapy nonsense, it remains visually engaging,” suffice it to say that the trailer itself has inconsistent pacing that might confuse or intrigue moviegoers.
All this only means that it’s up to viewer to decide, but fan or not of the “Gossip Girl” star, this is definitely one movie you should be on the look-out for.
