Give us a more iconic way to spend Christmas than spectacular Christmas Lights. None? You got that right.
Makati City is set to light up its much awaited Christmas lights tomorrow, November 3 at 5:30 PM with the ceremonial street lighting of Ayala Avenue, Makati Avenue, and Paseo de Roxas.
This year, Ayala Avenue will be lighted by the colorful stained glasses as it kicks off the Ayala Land Christmas Splendor.
“Christmas is all about family, friends and all the people we hold dear,” Shiella Aguilar, project development manager of Makati told the Inquirer. ““What better way to experience the joys of this season than by sharing new experiences with those you truly love, in a city that offers something for everyone? Makati’s holiday offerings, made possible with MasterCard and our partners, promise priceless memories for everyone.”
At the Ayala Triangle Gardens, its Christmas tradition, The Festival of Lights, has been named as one of the Conde Nast Traveller’s Seven Most Spectacular Light Shows in the World.
Meanwhile, in Circuit Makati awaits their 56 feet high outdoor Christmas tree which kicks off the ultimate shopping experience.
Aside from fab lights and holiday shopping, the lighting also kicks off staycation deals from Makati City’s biggest hotels like Holiday Inn and Suites and Fairmont Hotel.
