In the name of National Heritage Month, the National Museum of the Philippines is open to the public COMPLETELY FREE OF ADMISSION in commemoration of this month’s theme “Pamana para sa Pamilya” this entire May.
For those living outside Manila, don’t fret because NM’s regional branches, namely in Vigan, Kiangan, Kabayan, Angono-Binangonan Petroglyphs, Tabaco, Bohol, Butuan, and Jolo, are also in on this wonderful celebration so don’t forget to visit!
That’s not all. As we are in full swing celebrating our national heritage, the National Museum has also invited guests from different parts of the globe including Anthropology Professor Dr. P. Bion Griffin of the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa.
He will be presenting a FREE lecture about the Agta of Eastern Luzon, in which he worked closely on during his stay in the country.
If you’re feeling extra artsy, don’t miss BenCab: Appropriated Souls, too.
The National Museum is open on Tuesdays to Sundays from 10am to 5pm. Have fun!
