So here’s the deal…
Everyone loves Jollibee. From locals to foreigners, kids to adults, you name it. The minute you’re in the Philippines, Jollibee is bound to run in your blood.
In fact, the 1978 liner fast food chain was so successful, it expanded internationally in Saudi Arabia in 2008. Right now, over 10 countries – excluding the Philippines – have Jollibee branches.
While a lot of us who grew up as Jollibee kids might memorize the entire menu of the fast food chain if you look at Jollibee’s menu for its international branches, you might see some unfamiliar food choices.
And even though they’re unfamiliar, we’re pretty sure you’re asking “Bakit wala nyan dito sa Pilipinas?”
We took the liberty of looking at Jollibee’s international menus and you won’t’ believe what we found.
We know that Jollibee Spaghetti is life, pero Carbonara isn’t so bad either.
Jolly Cheesy Fries
While the cheesy fries used to be available in the local Jollibee stores years ago, cheese lovers (like me) are still waiting for its much-awaited comeback. So kailan nga, Jollibee?
Jollibee Chicken Tenders
We’d like the liberty to choose not to debone a chicken while eating too, Jollibee.
Jollibee USA also has their own version of Chicken Tenders, but named…
So paano kami sa Pinas? 🙁
Would love to have this beside the Jolly Hotdog pls.
Wag kayong ganyan ang daming mangga dito sa Pilipinas?
Chili Wings and Pita Sandwich
Jollibee Chili Wings… It has a good ring to it, no?
Macaroni Salad and Halo – Halo
Oo, may Halo-halo sundae here sa Pinas. BUT IT’S NOT THE SAME.
So the question remains, Jollibee: Bakit walang ganito sa Pilipinas?
