Taylor Swift’s new single ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ is straight up shady

“I’m sorry, the old Taylor can’t come to the phone right now. Why? Oh, ‘cause she’s dead!”

Taylor Swift isn’t playing nice anymore.

After drumming up the hype for her upcoming album ‘Reputation’, Swift finally dropped its first single, “Look What You Made Me Do” today.

The singer-songwriter’s new release soundly fell dark and shady in all the right places, much like its promo. The lines, “The world moves on another day, another drama-drama, but not for me, not for me, all I think about is karma,” confirms the unforgiving theme of her comeback music.

No names were dropped during the track. However, with its sharp lines and eerie beats, the freshly-released record screams nothing but savage. If she’s sending messages out to old-timey friends Katy Perry and Kimye, she made sure it went directly through their doors.

According to Billboard, Joseph Kahn (director for some of Taylor’s music videos), promises to release the official music video soon.

Reputation comes out on November 10, 207. In the meantime, watch the lyric video and look what you made her do:
