If you’re looking for a quick getaway for your post – valentines day weekend, head north is the way for you.
That’s because, on February 17, the first Sunflower Maze in the country will rise in Pangasinan.
In a bird’s eye view, the maze of flowers will form a sunflower 2,100 square meters wide in Barangay C. Lichauco in Tayug, Pangasinan.
The maze will be covered by around 8,000 sunflower plants, Allied Botanical Corp. (ABC) president Michael Caballes told the Inquirer.
“We are making it fun. We created three secret gardens, which are actually dead ends. [The gardens are] where people can take selfies or just rest and try to figure out how they can exit,” Caballes said.
The maze takes about 30 minutes to finish.
The sunflower maze is part of ABC’s Annual Open Days Agri – Tourism 2017.
