Something just happened last night and everyone is absolutely triggered.
On Wednesday, a certain senator – Let’s call her Cynthia Villar – announced that she seeks to ban unlimited rice offers in restaurants and fast food chains. Read more about it here.
Filipinos, who are known to be lovers of rice – like really, a full course meal isn’t complete with one one cup (or more) of rice.
In fact, everyone was so triggered that the words “Unli Rice” trended on Twitter.
While this news looked “cute” and, somehow, a “joke” everyone responded that way.

However, Villar was quick to defend her statement, saying that she isn’t planning to ban unli rice, rather an expression of concern over the health of Filipinos.
