What a time be alive.
2017 was supposed to be a year for flying cars, superhuman films and such, but surprise, surprise – it doesn’t!
What we have is an upcoming live-action ‘Dora the Explorer’ feature to be produced by American filmmaker Michael Bay.
Known for big production (and explosive) action films like Transformers, Pearl Harbor, and Armageddon, Bay is teaming up with Paramount Players and writer-director Nick Stoller on making the film adaptation of the popular Nickelodeon cartoon series.
The movie won’t be serving Adult Swim realness, either. It’s rumored to be a narrative about teenage Dora moving in the big city with her cousin Diego. (Talk about adulting, huh.)
There isn’t a fixed release date for the movie nor the other characters whereabouts yet. But one thing’s for sure…
Michael Bay and Dora? Definitely a pairing we didn’t expect.
