Earlier today, the bill that would revive the Death Penalty in the Philippines just passed the House of Representatives with a 12-6 vote. This means that the bill is now at the plenary level.
Here are the crimes punishable by death penalty
Following the approval, social media was taken by storm by Filipinos reacting to the said approval. Here are some of the reactions from social media.
First, the war on drugs. Now, death penalty reimposition. I guess it's easier to count dead bodies than to actually stop crimes.
